I am trying to upgrade from my Windows Vista Home Basic to Windows 7 Home Premium but every time i try the same message appears...
"There is not enough free space to store temporary Windows installation files. Try using Disk Cleanup, uninstall old programs, or move files to an external location such as a CD, DVD, or external hard drive."

I have 100+ GB of space left and have run a disk cleaner (Glarys Utilities Pro). And still i get the same message, is there something i am missing? Or can someone please help?

I am talking to you as I would a friend. Do not do an upgrade. This this only the first of problems that you will have. Do a clean install with the upgrad DVD. Borrow an external hard drive from a friend if you have to. Almost everyone doing an upgrade reports problems, which cause them to do the clean install, finally.
