Not exactly a BSOD but computer is randomly "resetting" itself?
just today my computer decided to instantly shut down as if i unplugged it and then a few seconds later it turned back on and started booting up again.
showing windows didnt shut down properly
and in the event viewer it says the same thing. unexpected shutdown uncleanly.
I'm at a loss to why and how this has happened. theres no temperature problems with CPU or GPU or motherboard or even the power supply. it has been working fine for months.
two times today it has done this. once in the morning around 7 AM and another time around 5 PM
I havent changed anything recently either so i have NO clue why or how this happened.
Theres also not a problem with dust buildup or anything in my computer. everything is plugged in securely. no loose cables or anything anywhere.

power supply doesnt fit but still works with adapter its just sitting on the desk behind the computer wires going into the case where the old power supply was.
No its not restarting like that. the computer is turning off and restarting in a manner as if i had pulled the power cable and put it back in then turned the computer back on. but its not set to automatically restart during a power failure. so it shouldn't be doing this. but its still doing it randomly every once in a while.
its not "restarting" like a normal restart. I dont see any "shutting down windows" or anything. the screen goes black and the power button light turns off and then a few seconds later the power button lights back up and the computer is starting up again and says windows didnt shut down correctly giving me safe mode options
