not genuine??????

i got a problem...my windows is genuine..but after i installed the latest updates..it says that my windows not running the genuine windows after i log on..but,at the control panel.it still shows that my windows is genuine..any suggestions?

I also have a MSDNAA copy of Windows 7. I had a similar issue. Have you used your product key generated from msdnaa more than once? I put it on my laptop and then wiped the drive and wanted to install it on my desktop and it wouldn't accept the key as genuine anymore.

no..i only used it once..so,the weird part is..the message "not genuine" only appears after each log on..after i close the message..nothing happens..my control panel shows genuine

Use this tool Genuine Microsoft Software
and reset the router back to factory defaults.If nothing help you have to contact with MS Support

One of the issues with Student deal copies of win7 is that the issue of licences was the responsibility of the actual academic organisation.

I am sure that they tried their best to ensure that this was handled with great care, however, I think that there may have been instances where duplicates were issued to different eligible people, they do not have the infrastructure for licence management available to Microsoft or the major OEM suppliers.

This is an unfortunate thing but understandable given the immense popularity of the schemes, and I'm sure that these issues will be solved with the minimum of difficulty.

maybe the best way is to contact my administrator first..i guess..if i have any doubts,i will post back here

make sure everyone that u haven't put the service software protection on manual,or disabled.Mine does it sometimes,but when i look at the properties and it comes up activated,the warning(not genuine)goes away...?
