Not responding

Somebody please help me I am at my wits end. I am having this problem as well. I bought a gateway with windows 7 installed. After about 2 months the problem has started. I have done all the ideas on the web I can find. I have also done two restores. The second time I erased everything and started fresh from the factory. I have not put anything new on and its still doing it like crazy. Its a gateway dx4300 quad 8 gig ram and 1 tb hard drive

Same problem also started a few Months ago. I tried the "not responding" hot fix from Microsoft but it didn't help.

Not Responing for gateway dx4300

I personnally purchased a gateway dx4300 and had issues with windows 7 64 bit freezing up baddly and to fix the issues I tryied formating and restalling OS and still had issues with it and Finally I got it fixed by replacing the hard Drive and the drive that came with dx4300 is a hitachi and i replaced it with a Seagate 1TB and backed up my files and created a OS image before i switched the new hard drive and now it works as if it brand new with no issues. the hard drives that is manufactored from gateway are bad hard drives which is the hitachi drives

There is a certain update from Microsoft Windows that causes "Not Responding" on our computers I just don't know which one it is.
