Solved Not sure how to install Windows 7 updates

I went to check for Windows 7 updates and the upgrade for Windows 10 was shown. I clicked on the link to view available updates, for Windows 7, and they listed about 8 updates. When I go back to the main update window, the upgrade Windows 10 is shown. I do not want to upgrade to Windows 10 at this time, so how do I update my Windows 7 without downloading the Windows 10 upgrade? They show a button that says, "Let's get started", but I'm afraid it is for upgrading Windows 10. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

UPDATE! I have solved my problem. By clicking on the link that directed me to check the available updates, I noticed in the upper Left corner of the update listings, Optional & Important. Clicking on Optional, I found the Windows 10 update with the box checked. I unchecked the box and the normal windows update window came up showing only the Windows 7 updates ready to be downloaded and installed. I finally got my Windows 7 updated.

Anymore now, the only way to update Win 7 is the same porcupines make love...very carefully.

Didn't quite follow your explanation at first, but then all clicked together and no more annoying "upgrade to Windows 10".

I think the difference now is the show all updates keeps it checked, by choosing check for updates again that should uncheck windows 10 but can't confirm this.
