Notebook batteri is finished. After some secs the display turns off (notebook
is connected to kabel power).
If the display is closed down, and opened again, the display turns on again
for some secs, and turns off again.
Hitting the batteri icon, which is always red crossed, windows prompts
that batteri has low performance and the computer may shut down anytime.
But the computer doesn't shut down, the display turns off.
Running the computer without the batteri doesn't work, the above happens.
Q: Is there a way to set windows 7 to ignore the defect batteri, and run
on wired power?

Thanks.

kjo,
UPDATE YOUR SEVENFORUMS SYSTEM SPECS

User CP (3rd item in the top menu bar) |
in left-hand column, under Your Profile, Edit System Spec |

Use Speccy - System Information - Free Download
and/or SIW to gather info for filling in the blanks.

Do me a favor and add the word laptop or desktop to the “system manufacturer” block.

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader, Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor

Scroll down and click on the SAVE CHANGES button.
