Need help badly!!
I've recently received a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit from HP and chose the upgrade option while installing.
Now nothing works... Shockwave keeps crashing when I view videos on youtube. And worse of all no audio!!

Is there anything that can be done?
Thanks.

Hi garethgkr and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

What is the full model number of your computer? I recommend clean installations as opposed to upgrades in order to minimise problems. Applications, such as Shockwave, Flash, etc will need to be reinstalled. These should be obtained directly from the manufacturers website, for the examples given this will be Adobe

Make sure that you have all the discs to restore programs. Use Easy Transfer to transfer settings etc. Use the upgrade disc and chose clean (custom upgrade), follow the instructions. When done, you will have a new OS, that will work. Upgrade is always full of problems. Reinstall your programs. Then use it for a while. Do not give your key number during the upgrade process. After you have used it for a while, activate with key, then make a system image. After that, just enjoy.
