I'm having a problem with my backup system.
When I click "Back up now", "Manage space", "Turn on schedule", "Change settings","Restore all users' files" and "Select another backup to restore files from",
Absolutely nothing pops up and my computer doesn't react at all.
It use to do 2 weeks before but I've installed some software and games since then so I guess they might be causing this.
I've look for a solution to it on the internet but I couldn't find anything similar and I tried running all services but couldn't solve it.
If it does not work, in lieu of any other solution, may I suggest. A system restore to a point prior to the installations. Then install one at a time, using if for a fair amount of time. If you are certain that the new installation is not the culprit, add the next and so on.
Do you mean the names of software??
If so here's the list of them I've installed
JDownloader
Xilisoft DVD Ripper Ultimate
Java(TM) 6 Update 17
Logicool Gaming Software 5.02
RESIDENT EVIL 2
Ad-Aware
Ad-aware Email Scanner for Outlook
XTRM Runtime.06
a-squared Free 4.5
Safari
Apple Application Support
DVD Fab 6.2.1.8
Xmedia Recode 2.2.1.0
double Twist
AudioCreator LE 1.5
UA-4FX Driver
Opera 10.51

Actually I'd already performed clean boot before Posting comment, sorry.
I guess some services or registry that perform backup have been deleted or affected by something in stead of other programs are causing this.
As karlsnooks suggested, I ran Malwarebytes and it detected infected registry then deleted them all but still nothing pops up. Besides, I executed full scan with a-squared every time after I installed a couple of software and if malware detected, I deleted them or uninstall the bad software.
Since I still have the backup I created before it happened so I'm going to keep trying solving this for the next couple of week. If it seems impossible, I'll restore the system.
Thank you all
And does anybody know how to backup by command prompt??
