My network icon of the notification area is displaying incorrectly! At first, it was okay. But through times, it's changed unexpectedly. I don't know why. I got a picture of it. It's not supposed to display this way.

Is there anyone know how to solve this problem?

I appreciate all the answers and thanks in advance.

rocksocheat7, Welcome to SevenForums.
That is the icon displayed when you have a wired connection. Do you use wireless or wired network adapter?

yes, that's right. The icon is working correctly. But on my friend's computer, it displays different, not like this. I just wonder why...

He might have a wireless connection. Even desktop computers use wireless connections some times.

Does his look like this?

Even this wireless connection icon is different from mine.

Or maybe I'm just a little bit confused. Anyway I thank you for all of your answers.

It seems like you just have the normal wired connection while you friend has something weird. As long as you don't have a problem connecting to the internet, I wouldn't worry about it.

Care to explain what you're going on about? He thought his notification icon was weird. Its not. He said his friend had something different. I can't see what his friend has, so I can't explain what his friend has. Seems like problem solved to me.
