notification icons

Hi, my notification icons are not there always. Sometimes they are and other times I have to reboot but they are not there all the time. Example is: safely remove hardware, tivo, answers etc. I have tried microsoft 'Fixit' but still not good. What now? Thanks.

Maybe they've have somehow been turned off? If so,

1. Right click on taskbar and click Properties.
2. Click on "Customize" in Notification Area.
3. At the next screen you can click on or click off the notifications that you want.

Hi, I have customised but still it's no good, not all icons are there. I have ticked the box that says show all icons.

Did you re-boot after clicking all icons?
