ntdll.dll is missing

hi again, i have a question. my current os is still windows 7 and i'm trying to install windows xp sp3 too. but when i was installing the sp3 there was a problem. it says that the ntdll.dll (i think) is missing or something.

is it possible that that error is coming from the installer cd itself or from my computer?

I am a new user so I try to learn how to dual boot xp and win 7.Your tutorial is great, I am just wondering I have 2 hardisks in my computer.
Disk 1 has win 7 (C), hp tools,recovery(E) and system. Disk 2 is empty for the data. Which hard disk is good for making a new partition and installing it disk 1 or disk 2? Because I dont want to have problem in dual booting later.
