NTFS missing or invalid?

My internal photo storage hard drive is showing up as RAW in windows 7, tried to force mount it in a linux environment and got the message ntfs directory is missing or invalid. Any software recommendations on finding my photos?

Try Partition Wizard free's "Partition Recovery Wizard". Other alternatives would be "Partition Find & Mount free" or "PartitionGuru free".

If these fail, you can go on looking to recover single files.

I would suggest that you post the following screenshots.

1. Screenshot of Windows Disk Management showing that drive. (Please remove all other external drives, pendrives, Card Readers, USB Printers - in short anything connected to the USB ports except your USB Keyboard and USB mouse)

Hey!

I would also add the request of detailing what happened when the drive turned to RAW format, what were you doing, how were you using it? What was happening before you noticed it was RAW? Were you receiving any errors prior to this issue?
