BSODs that happen seemingly randomly, while surfing the web or just sitting at the desktop.

Test your RAM using Memtest86+. Let it run until 6-8 passes have completed or errors have been found.

Test your video card using Furmark. Watch your machine's temps and stop the test if it starts to overheat or artifacts appear on the screen.

I ran the Furmark test for 20 minutes, my card leveled temps out at around 85 degrees. no artifacts or anything appeared. my nvidia drivers are up to date with the 301.24 driver. ill run the memtest later this night

the memtest ran 3 and a half passes until it detected an error

Isolate each stick and run Memtest; just so we can find whether it's a single stick that is faulty.

each stick runs clean. last week i replaced one faulty stick that I had found, but it did not fix the problem

It could be the slot. Try isolating the sticks in different slots.

im gonna try running the computer with just 1 stick to see if it still crashes
