Hi

I'm happy to have found this amazing forum and I'm pretty sure I'll get all my problems solved or answered. Alright enough talk let me explain my issue.

Almost 2 weeks ago I formatted my computer ( Full Install ) and days later I started having issues when playing music or videos that contain sound. Every time I listen to music or watch a video I get this sound as if the computer is going to crash but nothing happens. It happens randomly. I even updated my sound and graphics card drivers and still no luck. Yesterday I was using my webcam and all of a sudden BSOD. Also while on the BSOD the computer kept making the sound I always hear when listening to music. So I had to turned off the computer because the sound is very annoying. So this is the results of the dump file but I'm not sure if this BSOD has to do anything with the noise I've been getting.

Is Windows 7 . . .
- 64 bit
- Age of System - About 2 years and months
- Age of OS - About 2 Weeks

Thanks for your time.

64 bit kernel running 32 bit driver? Has your audio worked properly since the new installation?

Was the driver an automatic installation through windows update? or did you get the chance to pick and choose?

Hi Brady

Thanks for the Reply

I installed the drivers for my Nvidia 8800 GT which I got at their website ( I Got the 64-bit driver). I updated my sound card driver using a software called Driver Genius. The reason I ran a driver update scan with this program was to see if a new driver would fix this issue. So yeah before installing the new drivers the issue already existed.

We can't really tell what the definite cause it. We usually work based on percentages and trial-and-error. In other words, read 5-15 dumps, and see what they say. Uninstall or update programs that we suspect and hope the BSODs stop.

Hopefully the Logitech update will do the trick. If not, upload a new report and we'll take another look.
