Hello, I recently posted on here about some problems I was having with a clean install of win7. I am still having problems although fewer at this point. I keep getting BSODs when I am trying to play games or I am trying to install programs on my machine. I have attached the DMP files. On top of that my system just seems to be very unstable. All web browsers crash frequently, and microsoft security essentials stops at least once an hour. on top of that, while playing games my video drivers seem to stop working and recover frequently. saddly I can't actually use the most up to date video drivers because those cause a bsod even when just installing. I am running a HD6850. I just want this computer to be usable. please help.

Last night I had another two BSODs. I have attached the files. I also just updated my graphics drivers to the new 11.10 version, so hopefully that will help. any confirmation or telling me what is actually wrong would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

just had another BSOD. I was away from my computer for about 45min and when I came back it had blue screened. It was an IRQL Not less Than or Equal by the way. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thank you.

Fill out your system specs. It helps a lot in troubleshooting things.

Voip. Insanely cheap phone calls.
I filled most of my system specs. I have already tried running memtest86+, hard drive integrity checks, the sfc/scannow command. all of which have come back with no faults. I have had to use system restore a couple of times already just to get back to a mostly usable state (there are no restore points from before my problems). I just now tried to do a repair install but I got an error from the compatibility report saying

"Windows 7 Professional cannot be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional. You can choose to install a new copy of Windows 7 Professional instead, but this is different from an upgrade, and does not keep your files, settings, and programs. You’ll need to reinstall any programs using the original installation discs or files. To save your files before installing Windows, back them up to an external location such as a CD, DVD, or external hard drive. To install a new copy of Windows 7 Professional, click the Back button in the upper left-hand corner, and select “Custom (advanced)”."

I then just now was able to restore back to a point where I still had SP1 installed. So I am back to wondering what drivers are causing my problems. My system runs stable on an win xp drive.

I just had another two BSODs. the first one was related to DXGMMS1.sys. Not sure but is this a directx issue? Googleing the file seemed to come up with directx being the culprit. the most recent one didn't tell me anything about the problem so the DMP files are attached. Thank you.

well I will just keep posting each time I get another BSOD. just had another IRQL not less or equal. The only thing I was doing was browsing the internet. maybe 4 tabs open, no videos, just reddit. I am just getting really frustrated. Its been a couple of weeks and I want win7 to function properly and actually let me use what I want. for some more info, when my system hangs it seems to do so for a good 5-10 minutes at least (walked away for a while this last time. most times I just hard reset after a few min). It seems to hang most when it comes out of sleeping or screen saver and I immediately ask it to do something like open a browser or other program. I have really exhausted all of my own thoughts and windows email support has been less than useless. please help. Thank you very much.

Hello Again. I finally went and got myself the Debugging tools for windows and took a look at my DMP files. It looks like the last three all point to NTFS.sys. The last one was generated from after starting driver verifier. I am really not sure where to go from here or what to do with that knowledge. Microsoft support finally got back to me and said to try running the windows memory check. I will do that even though I have already run Memtest86+ over night. Here are the newest dmp files. thank you.
