Just a comment, not a question. After doing a Win7 reinstall, with the expert assistance of folks here, I faced a "Windows Activation" responsibility. OK, sounds fine. Doing this over the phone, I am asked to read off 54 numbers to them (aaack!) and then am given 48 numbers (double aaack!) to type in ("Confirmation ID"), in order to "activate" my Win7 system. I did it. It works. But excuse me, this is just nutso. Why in the world am I diddling around with SEVENTY TWO numbers to confirm my ID? The folks at Microsoft must be shrieking with laughter every time someone does this. (Yes, supposedly it is easier if I use a smartphone, but ...)

I`ve had to do it in the past, it`s no big deal and takes 5 minutes.

A woman's voice would be better though :D

Took me ten minutes, because I'm told I should copy down the Confirmation ID and verify it. My point is that security simply doesn't require the exchange of 72 numbers. I've never heard of a password that is 72 characters long. But hey, why not? It would only take five minutes to type it in!

Just kinda funny.
