If you open your device manager, does it list your 6600 as the current display adapter?

completely uninstall your 6600GT from your system .... scan computer for hardware changes ( it will install the standard VGA adapter ) ... Download the latest drivers ( 2010.7.19 256.96 WHQL ) NVIDIA DRIVERS 258.96 WHQL Install the drivers and test... let us know how it turns out... ;)

Welcome to Windows SevenForums. I found this on minimum system apecs for WoW
Blizzard Support Here is the interesting portion of this article
** The exact hardware requirements for Windows 7 are still being calculated. Only retail versions of Windows 7 are supported

Now maybe it might have something to do with why your 66000gt won't play the game. Error code failed to find suitable display device..

Also the fact that it has a yellow exclamation mark on it tells me that it's being recognized yet their is something still wrong with the install.Or your card. Maybe try an older driver like the 197.77 http://downloads.guru3d.com/Forceware-197.77-Win-7-%7C-Vista-32-bit-WHQL-download-2555.html See what happens.

Also please put your system specs in your user CP top of page ( use speccy to find them post #4)>then scroll down to edit system specs > put them into the proper categories. This way they will show up under My System Specs in the left hand bottom corner of all of your posts and members won't need to look up for the post you put them on

We really need to have that information. Thanks Fabe
.
You wouldn't happen to have a friend you could borrow a Nvidia card from then try it would you?

Don't know about that card and WOW, but from what little is listed from the specs I'm guessing it is an old nforce 2 or 3 AGP board, with a severe lack of chipset drivers resulting in Speccy not reading much of anything. If that is what it is, without a working AGP/GART driver it is a moot point what the video card is as the driver for it will never install.

Brian this one looks like it is time to pop the case open and get a refresher on what is inside by locating the make and model of the motherboard.

+1 stormy good point. Fabe
The model number should be located either parallel to the Ram slots or under neath the AGP or first PCI slot.
