Nvidia Card Stops and Screen Freezes

yeah a modern computer even without a dedicated graphics card is kind of pushing things running on less than 350 watts.

I do appreciate your time and patience. I will post again once the power supply is replaced, before I mark this as solved. Also, I love the graphics of the Robin Hood in Reverse!

Do you know what this means?

More information on this problem. I downloaded Whocrashed from Resplendence Software - Advanced System Tools and Developer Components and it ran a couple of analysis reports which referenced advast as being one of the problems, so I uninstalled advast and installed avg. Things got a little better (system stayed on longer - 30 minutes before it went down). Also, the temp of the card stayed between 69 - 71.

I ran Whocrashed again and this time received the culprit as a hal.sys driver error and am currently looking for update drivers - any more suggestions?

I am narrowing it down even further, it seems to also be related to whenever I open Firefox or Windows IE9 so I think it may have to do with connecting to the Internet. I received 16 video hardware errors today. Any suggestions?

Well FF and IE9 are both hardware acellerated so it may just be when something uses the video card persiod. And the more they use it the more likely or quickly the crash :/

If trying out a few different of the nvidia drivers didn't fix it. And a 500+ watt PSU doesn't fix it... it may just be that the card is going bad. :(
