Am on x64 and for some reason the Nvidia Control panel never installs? when installing the 195.81 x64 driver's from Nvidia.

The control panel don't show up anywhere. Normally you right click on the desktop and go to it there or find it in the taskbar but there is nothing there and there's nothing in the Nvidia Cooperation folder regarding the control panel either. However in the \Programs\NVIDIA Corporation folder there is only one file which is the NVIDIA PhysX Properties .exe, but that won't load. It says "Windows Cannot find NvCpIU.exe" which am guessing is saying it can't find the control panel.

Specs are
E4500
Gigabyte P35-S3G
4GB OCZ
Evga 9600GT SC
Emu 1820m
Samsung F1 + WD's
7 x64 Ultimate

I've got another rig with my other copy of 7 x64 with a 7600gt and everything works fine with the same driver's, I can access the Nvidia control panel without no problem.

Any advise or idea's?

Tried installing 195.62 driver's but control panel still won't show. Tried uninstalling each driver then reinstalling after driver sweeper etc but it's not working. Really need the control panel to set things up properly on here.

Thanks in advance.

Can you try checking if the program is installed by using the quick search bar in the start menu (Type nVidia), because it might be there and working but just not in the menu according to its settings.

If you can't find it there check the control panel, there has to be a Panel for Nvidia if you have the drivers installed

Nothing is coming up now. There was a Nvidia Coperation folder before but that seems to have gone now. I do see where the .exe extracted to though: C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\195.62\WinVista_Win7_64\International

Strange as when installing the driver's it seems like they have been installed perfectly fine.

Am guessing this could be a bug then and can only hope there is a fix released soon.

Well this is strange, the control panel has just shown up for no apparent reason. All i done on the PC is listen to some music and browse the web, did no tweaks to try fix this problem the last hour or so and then I noticed the control panel is there now and everything is good. A bit random.

You can...Make sure you have the correct driver downloaded from nVidia, use winrar and manually extract the exe into a folder. After extraction you will see the control panel setup. Run it manually and see what happens...
