Solved nVidia GEforce GTX 660 (no Ti) power usage

So, my old ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card died, and I got a new one (listed in title). It works fine, but at random times, the computer will just instantly shut down, then start up a few seconds later. I've read that this is a problem for other users, but I really don't know what to do.

A 350W PSU is going to be underpowered for a 660, the minimum requirement for a reference card is a 450W with 24a on the 12V rail. I'd recommend looking at upgrading your PSU as soon as possible, ideally go for a 550W to give yourself some headroom and look for a good quality PSU, my personal recommendation is always Corsair.

Ok, I have purchased a new 530W power supply. If anyone else is having a problem similar to this, your best (and most likely only) option is to upgrade your power supply.

FYI most current GPU's will require no lower than 500w PSU This started about 2009-2014

According to some people Corsair underates their PSU that 450 might be a 550 in disguise
