This used to happen only every so often, but now it is happening every time i use my computer.

I have the Nvidia GeForce 9800m GS Graphics card on my laptop, and now when i use my computer ill randomly have little green dots all over my screen. I notice it really only happens when i have my laptop plugged in (charging). its getting really annoying and it happening more and more lately. Any suggestions?

Have you recently installed the latest 275.33 driver? If so, you might want to roll back to the 270.61 as reports are coming through that the latest NVIDIA driver is giving rise to pixelated screens.

solved the problem. seemed heat was the issue. changed some cooling settings and got it to work. hope this is more than a temp fix

Other than giving the inside of your laptop a good clean and checking nothing's loose, not really.

Just a thought, you could delete your graphics hardware in Device Manager, and then reboot to let Windows detect it. It'll install a generic driver, but that should enable you to update your graphics with a driver of your choice.
