My PC was custom made for me a couple of years ago so im not a 100 percent on the exact make and model but this is the info which I have been able to grab via Tuneup 2009 - It has a AMD processor 3100+ , 1GB Ram , Nvidia 5200fx Graphics Card with a American Trends BIOS, I know this info is basic but again the system was custom made, thank you for any help. When in doubt, pop open the case and look at the MB for any markings.

Now, although not a slam dunk, given you are running a AMD chip, odds
are higher that it's a nvidia-chipset .....

You are going to need to identify the MB. Should have a manufacturer and model number silkscreened on the board. Need to find that. Once found, then go to MB manufacturer's homepage and look up specs.

Hello Mike,

Can you post the exact details of your Network Chip/Card I am running with an nVidia NIC without issues. You may want to take a moment to complete your "my system Specs" in user Cp as this will make things easier to diagnose

Does that board have Vista drivers available for it? I did some quick looking around and noticed quite a few complaints on-line about not having vista drivers (folks were using XP drivers in place of it).

When I went to Nvidia's site, I they didn't seem to have a driver for the nforce3 systems - just Nforce Pro 3000 (I don't think they are the same thing).

You might be out of luck - I hope I'm wrong.

Now one thing to note about this problem for me, is if I shut down my system, then powered off the PSU, then turned everything back on and restarted the system, the NICs showed back up. Can you try the same thing?
