Solved nvlddmkm.sys causing BSOD at start up, or BLACK SCREENS after SLEEP!!

Hi all,
I am the proud owner of two Titans, and have recently been experiencing these symptoms in win7 64 :

1. BSOD after FIRST computer start up. nvlddmkm.sys is the culprit.
Then after second reboot all is fine.

2. AFTER sleep the computer turns on but the screens are pitch black. Takes a few reboots to get everything back to normal.

Other than this, computer works perfectly.

After long research and trying about everything, we found the culprit to be Logitech webcam drivers interfere with nvlddmkm.sys.

If you are getting any of these symptoms, please uninstall Logitech webcam software.

  2. Start :orb: Type: Device Manager
  3. Expand Display Adapters
  4. Right-Click Driver Name, Uninstall
  5. Reboot
  6. Run Driver Sweeper
  7. Reboot
  8. Install Downloaded Driver
Driver Sweeper will scan for any left over files from the old driver, old driver files can cause conflicts with new driver installations. Create a System Restore point beforehand, in case any problems or issues arise.

AVG is causing problems here, and is well known cause for BSODs, remove this program using the AVG Removal Tool, and then install and run full scans with these free and proven alternatives which work with Windows 7.

Remember to install the free version of Malwarebytes not the free trail; untick the free trial box during installation. MSE is the most lightweight and compatible with the Windows 7 operating system

Acronis seems to be causing some problems also, please remove this program with the removal tool if any, or use Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily, Forced Uninstall, Leftovers Uninstaller (free trail version).

Please update your graphics card driver, install the latest WHQL version, using this specific method:

I recommend if you are overclocking any hardware, that you reset these values within the BIOS to their default values in order to increase the stability of your system.
