Solved Oblivion overrides gamepad emulation!

I need some help. I just bought a Steelseries 3GC USB controller and the GOTY Oblivion game today, I’ve finally managed to figure out the right analog stick issue (via the “mode” button) and to get everything fully mapped out how I want it, but now the game is overriding those settings with its own and I can’t figure out how to stop it from doing that while also preserving the keyboard functions (as all won’t fit into this 12 button controller).

Can anybody out there please help me with this? Thanks!

It would appear once again I've spoken too soon... the game hides the control screen in Options (before it only listed "Keyboard" rather than "Mouse" and "Joystick" as well). So it's been taken care of, sorry lol. :o
