OCing an OEM Acer computer

Hey so ive been wanting to try ocing for a while and i was finally able to get my hands on an old pc no one really cares about. So i tried going into the BIOS and looking for something i could do, but there are no options to change anything. So i decided to try out clockgen, but now im having a really hard time trying find my PLL. Where would i have to look to find it.

Overclocking an OEM computer is a thoroughly bad idea. These computers lack just about everything necessary for safe and effective overclocking. Manufacturers are well aware of this and omit the settings necessary for overclocking. This saves you from failures and them from the resulting warranty clams.

In many cases overclocking an OEM computer is possible but the results won't be very satisfactory and the risks high.

Overclocking is best confined to custom built computers where you control the quality and specifications of the components used. OEM manufacturers control this but a primary goal is keeping costs down. In a highly competitive market they don't have much choice.

Ditto what LMiller7 says. On top of that, the CPU is probably locked and can't be OC'ed.

What cpu is in it ?

Just upgrade it to the maximum the motherboard will support, no need to OC.
