Solved Odd OUTLOOK issue needing help

When I send or reply to emails they go through but stay in my Outbox and aren't being shown in my Sent Items as they had been. Can anyone yield some insight as to how I can get my cleared Outbox items to show in Sent Items.

Thanks maxie, I gave the 2007 instructions a go but after turning off and then turning back on the problem is still there as all sent emails are staying in Outbox and nothing shows in Sent Items. Odd !

Close outlook,
See what happens Hold down the Ctrl key when you open outlook,
Should open it in safe mode.
I gather there's no error message ?

Opened in Safe mode and sent a test email and sent perfect but it stays in Outbox and nothing in Sent Items. No error messages.

Do the emails have large (10MB+) attachments?
Some people on the web report it might have something to do with the iCloud add-in, do you have it installed?

That's just it they're are no attachments. Let me try one with an attachement ! One momemnto.....

I sure can't reproduce it ?
I use Hostmonster as my incoming and outgoing server.
As soon as I hit send it plops to my sent folder/ outbox empty.

Excuse my ignorance but what is OWA?

Ah....Outlook Web Access. I've never used this as my Earthlink account is the only one tied to this desktop via Outlook. My other emails are browser based.

Several people found this post helpful, sorry I can't try it.

SOLUTION:​

1. Start Outlook and click on "Contacts" to go to the contacts section of the navigation pane.​

2. Right click "Contacts" *within* the navigation pane (on the left).​

3. Select "Create New Folder" and name it "Temp".​

4. Select All contacts and *copy* them into the Temp folder.​

5. Select All the contacts just created and paste them back into the original Contacts Folder.​

6. When prompted to "Update" the first contact in your contacts list, choose "Update All."​

Hi there ... You can also try the following

Select "tools" from the menu bar

Select "Send/recieve" from the drop down menu (it should cascade outward)

Select "Send/recieve settings" from that menu

Select "make this folder available offline"

Interesting as I followed all steps maxie but my version has no "make this folder available offline" my choices are:

Define Send/Receive Group... Ctrl+Alt+S
Disable Scheduled Send/Receive
Show Progress...
