I have to recently had to a complete new install on my “HP Pavilion dv6” due to a virus completely wiped the HDD.
But ever since the install the HDD has 3 partitions on it which is correct.
· Local Disk (C
793GB Free of 906GB
· System Reserved (D:0 14.1 MB Free of 99.9MB
· Recovery (H
23.9GB Free of 24.4GB
The segment that has me worried is the “System Reserved (D
” as when I open to see what is on that part of the drive the result I get is “This folder is empty”.
What I do not understand is why the drive is showing that there are items on this part of the drive but when I open it is empty.
Can anyone enlighten me as way this is happen and suggest any remedies that can rectify this hic up clinch!
I would like to shrink the local disk but I am confused as to what size to make the partition.
Please see attached image.
