i had an hp laptop for approximately 1 year and after the warrranty expired, the laptop motherboard failed and it was lost for good. i want to know if there is any way i can still use the OEM license for Windows 7 Home Premium??? this transfer would be made to a toshiba laptop. the OS came preinstalled when i purchased the laptop
and the thing is, the HP laptop was Windows 7 x64 but the toshiba laptop is x86 so there's another question, if a x64 license works whne installing an x86 version of Windows 7 HP.
edit: i figured out that you cant from a simple search, which is what i should've done before i posted this . . . that sucks that i cant transfer the OS AT ALL
