Office 15 M2 Build 15.0.2703.1000 Leaked and Available for Download

Unless it's obvious where a function should be, I'm forced to check every tab/ribbon.
In previous verisons you had to click and load a new drop down menu everytime you needed to search for a function...sometimes opening new windows, rather than seeing them on your primary screen.

That is partially true

That is partially true.

You couldn't customise the Office 2007 ribbon, but you could customise the toolbars in the earlier versions (so you didn't have to constantly open the menus).
I would concede that the location of functions seemed to be a bit weird (e.g. Page Layout wasn't in the Format menu).

I still have to open new windows (e.g the paragraph one for example).
I would also concede that it does have some advantages for repetitive tasks that don't require swapping ribbons (as someone pointed out earlier).

It's probably easier to train noobs with the ribbon.
As a grumpy old b******, I was able to recognise the "pattern" that the menus made when you tried to access certain functions.

Why no Print ribbon?
Doesn't anyone print anything at MS?
The first time a group of us (at training course) encountered Word 2007, we couldn't figure out how to print a document.
I was so bamboozled, I forgot that you could use Ctrl + P. :o

Luckily I only use Office for personal files, so high speed output isn't a requirement.
