Solved Office 2000 damaged CD

I have an old install disk with the genuine Key. I only install the Access database as I do not use anything else and have used the disk to install it on my other computers without any problems.
I am using it now to install Access on a new computer but I am getting an error message that the disk has become damaged and now can't be used.
I copied the Microsoft Office Folder from Program Files (x86) on one of my other computers into the same place on the new one not expecting anything to happen. However it did try to run but stopped with the error message that it could not find the key on this computer. Is there anyway I can insert the key and get it to work.

have you first tried cleaning it gently ?

There was something called cd recovery toolbox years ago, not sure if the link below is the same thing but you can have a look

You can find ISOs of Office 2000 in the Internet Archive. Make sure you get the edition that matches your key, it will only work with the edition it was issued for (Standard, Premium, Professional, etc.)

Sorry for taking so long to reply to both of you for the helpful replies.
I first tried the recovery toolbox section and it seemed to work fine, it did take a while but I had ticked all the boxes and should have maybe just selected Access. I ran the new folder and it started OK but then with the message "Please wait while the install finishes" it seemed to go on forever and I thought the computer was hanging so stopped and deleted it.

I then tried the iso image method and that seemed to work as well, I used the only blank DVD that I had then tried it out and unfortunately it had all the Office applications that I did not want but there was no Access. It was the Standard edition. Fortunately the DVD was a RW so I erased it and used it again this time downloading the Premium edition. Like before when it was finalising it seemed to be going on for ever but I left it and eventually it completed.

When using the new DVD to instal Office 2000 I used the custom option and unticked all the boxes except Access but unfortunately they have all been installed along with it.
Thank you both again for your help, I think the recovery toolbox method would have worked as well if I had left it longer.
