Office 2007 OEM OPK Disk Creation - Is it possible?

I have just found an MLK pack which I purchased some years ago which contains 3 licences for activating pre-installed installations of, it says, "Office Professional 2007, Office Small Business 2007 or Office Basic 2007 on a Microsoft Office Ready PC, or other Office suites or component application software on their respective presinstallations. This product key will not activate volume license or other boxed copies of 2007 Microsoft Office suites or component applications."

It then goes on to give a link which redirects to:-

https://devicepartner.microsoft.com/en-GB/

which tells me that 2007 has retired and it contains security risks.

I've had a rummage around bu cannot find anything on this site that relates to creating images of Office 2007.

I've used some of the excellent tutorials on here previously to create a nice clean install disk for Windows 7 (All Versions) and found this forum a great resource and more importantly a TRUSTED resource.

I don't want to be trawling the internet on sites I don't particularly have experience with when I consider this my go-to place for all things Microsoft.

There is no problem with Office 2007.

The problem is the MLK part, which is system of licensing from Microsoft for organisations that would purchase multiple copies of Office using a special license for this purpose. This license is renewed every year. However, if it's not renewed then it lapses & MS will issue Activation failure notices to users that continue using it.

So it seems that your Office 2007 MLK license has expired as it has never been renewed & may have expired years ago.

I am not sure this is correct. The licence keys have never been used. They are sealed and are intended for system builders. 2007 was a standalone installation. My issue is I do not have an install disk so cannot install.

I am pretty sure the keys will be fine as 2007 was never issued, to my limited knowledge, as a subscription service. This was intended to be sold with machines that had pre-installed trial versions (which were installed using the OPK disk set).

If you could direct me how to build a disk set or perhaps where I could obtain the ISO's that would be great. I can then try one out.

I cannot help you find an ISO as I think MS has discontinued any downloads of Office 2007. Even if you could find one I doubt MS will allow activation at this late stage, with an MLK activation code.

Of course you can continue to search the web & you might get lucky, but be careful as there are a lot of scammers out there just waiting to strike.

Can you clarify why you think a sealed product key would have expired please?

I am sure you know more about me if you're a system builder.

I can buy an OPK which is brand new sealed but don't want to waste money if you or anyone else is 100% sure that it cannot be activated.

Obviously, MLK's should be sold within 90 days of a sale of pre-installed hardware being sold but there is no stipulation anywhere on the packaging to say it cannot be activated at any time. It states, "Licence must be sold within 90 days".
