Office 2007 start up?

When I start an Office 2007 application (e.g. Word) it starts up just like the first time after the install? The blue line runs from left to right and it is the same with the other programs. I have reinstalled and installed the program but with no avail. I use Windows 7 Prof. 32 bit

Try right clicking on WinWord.exe and selecting Run as Administrator. (WinWord.exe is located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 for 32 bit Windows 7 or C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12 for 64 bit Windows 7)
Then close Word and start it normally.

I have tried your suggestion but without any succes. Now I have reinstalled the Pc and have installed Office 2010 instead and it works. Thank you for your time.
