Office 2010 Meeting updates can't save just my instance only
Hi,
in 2003 there was a question, that question was
'Update this instance of your meeting update only?' Simply, and worked. In 2010, it's gone. How do I update the text of my meeting without my delegates all getting the update.
Why, because it's helpfull to add notes, becuase it used to be there, becuase 2010 makes things better - not!
Sorry if this has been covered, search came up blank.

Hello Andy -
I don't have the exact answer you would like BUT there may be a work-around.
Open your time slot appointment that was sent to others.
Click on the Appointment tab.
Click on Copy to My Calendar . This adds a second instance of the appointment; open it and edit as desired.
Click the Private (lock) icon.
Click Save & Close .
This should work but PLEASE TRY IT / TEST IT with a couple associates to make sure they don't receive your "copy" appointment.
Also, disregard the time conflict warning.

GEWB

Hi GEWB,
yep that is one way, I had seen that tip mentioned elsewhere on the net. It seems this is a feature that just isn't there anymore.

Hello Andy -
Don't you hate when "New! Improved! Updated!" is a step backwards?
(Mark the thread "closed" if you don't want more replies.)
