Solved Office 2010 menu bar

I have Office 2010 Standard Edition and I'd like to know how to enable the menu bar or if it is possible.
Like this one from IE.

i dont think its possible, it is not a regular explorer window.
i see no mention of the menu bar in any of the options.

Rethinking, I don't think it would have Tools or Favorites. My old, old Office XP did have it.

never used xp. im a bit of a newcomer despite my age.

There is this absolutely awesome free tool for personal use and really cheap for business. It creates the menu bars like office 2003.
UBit Schweiz: UBitMenu International Languages
OR http://www.ubitmenu.com/
There is also a separate Outlook menu if needed, you have to purchase that.
If you want tabbed office documents try this free for personal use add on:
http://office-tabs.com/download.htm if you require a more powerful version there is a shareware version available.

Thanks but Ubit looks like it adds what is in the ribbon already. I'm looking for File Edit View Help mostly.

What I'm looking for really is usually under Help and About.
I did download and installUbit for a test drive. Wow, it took all of 1/2 second to install.

I don't remember everything that was under the Help menu in pre Office 2007 versions

In Office 2010 the About info is displayed at File > Help

If you are looking for office version info on a system you are working on this should answer that...

It would have made the transition much easier for me...

Britton, I use toolbar for word and excel. They are free and available from:

 Navigator Utilities - Excel add-in for power users

The Quick Access Toolbar is the one which I find most useful.

You can choose to show it above or below The Ribbon (I personally prefer it below). You can choose which commands to display. Lots of information and guidance here:

Exactly what I wanted! Yup the Ubit add-in seems to work well too.

Never been any problem with either of them. I was so impressed with the UBit I bought it about 5 times even though it is free and put it on all our home PC's.
The file size is tiny and it makes office usable for me and my wife. Cost me all of $10
