Office XP SP2 Windows Update failing

Trying to install Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 2 (SP2)

I get the following error.

Google search is not finding a fix for this.

I'm still using RC1 build 7100 and this is the first update I've had a problem with. Any help appreciated.

Its difficult for me to answer based upon what I see, but did you download SP1 and subsequent downloads? You cannot install sp2 unless SP1 is already in place.

I didn't specifically download anything. I'm just taking what Windows Update is offering.

I'll see if I can find SP1 though, thanks.

Problem is resolved. I was offered 26 additional Office updates today. I installed them, then went back to the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 2 (SP2) and it installed with no problems.
