I am having a great deal of trouble with one of my laptops running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Whenever i am offline and boot/log into windows my documents does not appear.
I connect to my domain remotely, run gpupdate /force and log off/on and they are there.

How can I resolve this so that I do not have to rely on a network connection to reconnect my documents when working remotely?

Hello Julian, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could use the Offline Files feature to make the document files available offline (see related links at link as well). When you connect back to the network next, it will automatically sync and update the files on the network for any changes made while offline.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Offline files are already enabled.

I even sync my files prior to leaving a connection to ensure I am up to date.
