Hey guys! Been almost a year since I last posted (school and work taking up all my time!).
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has used some sort of lubricant like WD40 on something like it on a PTZ camera, for instance a Foscam IP camera. I have a generic (Foscam knockoff) and the up/down of the camera is starting to struggle and sometimes does not move at all. It is not the motor as I can hear it just fine It just sounds like there is some sort of resistance on it.
Here is an image of it. This is literally what it looks like (I'm sure you've seen this before, as you can tell it is a popular camera that many companies are slapping their name on).
