Seems that the last review was back in 9/1/2009 for MSE but I can't find the chart. It doesn't matter. I'm sticking with MS Security Essentials. :D

Got it.

I don't believe it though. I can't see PC Tools Internet Security being in good. I don't buy it. While their product seems fine, if it performed that well, it would certainly top the charts at AV Comparatives. I don't even think they are included in AV Comparatives from what I remember.

Doesn't everyone use MS Security Essentials?

It has been over 2 months since I went 100% Microsoft Security Essentials and still believe it is the best solution for 99% of all users.
I just can't get over it how flawless it runs in the background and doesn't slow anything down. This is what I always wanted and to believe MS did it.
I'm still waiting to hear more advertisements from MS about it but nothing has surfaced. Wonder why?

Have you tried MS Security Essentials yet? If not you should...
If you're interested you can read the details and download a FREE full copy.
It gives you real-time protection against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software.

And NO... I don't work for MS but do own a few shares of stock.

Right now I am running Norton 2009, which came with my new computer. I have always read that one should never run two or more anti virus programs because that could do nasty things to your computer (unlike two or more anti spyware/malware programs). So is it correct that one can safely run MSE in addition to other AV programs like Norton?

only if one is active, eg. one set to on demand only.

Edit: i only ever use one though. MSE is my choice now...never norton..

MSE will complain if you disable real-time protection. If you have Norton you need nothing else. Use Windows Defender if it hasn't been disabled too.
