Ok I have an Acer Aspire 5738G laptop with an Nvidia Geforce 105 M:

xdgvir.png

Ok my problem is before my card was around 4x ~ 5x ~ °C
now it's at 6x ~ °C and the problem is when it becomes 60 °C the fan in the laptop is spinning loud wich is annoying like if you are listening to music etc.
and before the temps were ok and there was no loud fan :(

My question is how can I fix this ? driver problem ??? dust ???
Is there an Application that I can control my fan with ?

Ok in the picture it is under load but also if just diong the windows flip 3D with some windows open the temp spikes to 6x ~ °C. Also the fan control doesn't work in speedfan

With laptops as only means of computing, you need to blow out the intake/exhaust ports of the laptop on a weekly basis...imo. Furthermore, I would suggest that a laptop fan (chill mat) of some type which are inexpensive these days. I use this kind.

Targus Lap Chill Mat

Ok but I think that will not solve the GPU temp
is this a driver issue or what ??? any other suggestions

Because i don't think a cooling pad wil cool the GPU

Does it do the same with the latest laptop version,

NVIDIA DRIVERS 285.62 WHQL

instead of the latest beta version which is what you have installed? Also other than they are rather old, what kind of temps do you get on it with the last driver available from Acer?

Ok but the lasted Acer drivers are bad because I have FPS lag in games etc
But i'm trying the lasted non beta :) yup temp now 51 °C will test further if it spikes again or not

NOOOOO ! it spikes again to 62 :( what can I do next isn't there a program to control the fan speed with ? And I also think it's the driver because if I was uninstalling the computer was quiet >.>

Controlling the fan won't do any good if the fan is clogged with dust. May be have look over here and try nekonya's solution for cleaning it (same model Acer too),

As for lag in games, considering the GPU in it is on the low end,

NVIDIA GeForce G 105M - Notebookcheck.net Tech

not really surprising. Older games should be reasonably playable on it but I don't think I would try something like BF3.
Yah but I mean with the acer drivers I have lag in every game even older so...
With the Nvidia drivers no lag but this heating is annoying because my fan doesn't stop spinning :@
