Old and odd .reg files and more (just!).

I have been troubled with the installation/uninstallation of a program, Routerstats. I have found files that are so named in Windows Search, but as well as those, others as per the attached PDF are listed.

The dates are all prior to my upgrading to the present system, so I am concerned why my search lists them at all, and if they are safe to delete.

In the C hard disk during my efforts I noticed folders "MCSRACache with a alphanumeric string. Many are empty. What are they for and can (should)the empty ones be kept .

Looks old files left by a registry cleaner backup...You should be able to delete them safely.

You can aswell after, reset the cache from Windows Search in the Control Panel=>Indexing Options=>Avanced Tab=>Rebuild, and force it to rebuild the index.

Thanks for advice. Was it meant to include the empty MCSRACache folders? What are they anyway?

I can't help you for that...i didn't found that one on my computer...! Did a search and impossible to have an aswer on bing or google.

I think I might of figured out / stumbled upon what/where these files are generated from:
Check for your computer for the program MyConnectionServer.
I have about 10 or so MSCRACache folders, and found reading them, what ever information I could extract, they kept calling a command rtaplugin, did a search for that, and it pointed me back to MyConnectionServer. Which, was something I tried a demo for when having issues with my microcell, which is another issue.
This information may not completely apply to your case, but may help, plus there is next to 0 info on the web when searching MSCRACache, so I thought my findings might help if someone else does the search.
