Old Games New Opsys.No Games.

Hi All,
Is there such a thing as a quick fix to run games on W7 without to much faffing around,having had a quick look and go at Vista I was not impressed,however having gone for W7 I find that most of my games will not run which means all my favourite tension breakers are gathering dust.I was told if I upgrade from Home Premium to the Pro W7 I can then trip the Pc back to Xp so I can use my games.
Seems a tad expensive fix What !!.
Now come on Win lets get get some elbow grease from you,we have bought the OS for quite a few Shillin and I can only say as a Cornishman tid`nt proper yewm sittin on your well paid fannys when likes of us as to work fer a livin and ave tew sell the kids an cows to pay more when we be wantin some stress relief an af to upgrade OS agin cos taint proper.
So to put this in proper english can anyone give me any hope that I will be able to play my games old and new without a £120 upgrade after buying W7 in the first place,CARE TO COMMENT MICROSOFT,I`ll send you some Clotted Cream for your scones.???????????????????????????????????​
