[Solved] Old mobo + win7, need driver help.

Hi all, I have an Abit NF7-S2.
I know it's ancient in computer years but I NEED to get it working.

The built in Lan and sound are the only things not recognized by Win7.

I was able to scrounge up all the drivers but of course they don't work with Win7.

If I could write my own I would

Apparently Abit's site has been down for days now.

Solved: Ran the original mobo disk in compatibility mode and all is good.

ZedFighter, welcome to the Seven Forums.

The problem you're having with that old board isn't that the Abit site is down (Abit actually has gone out of business), it is that the chipset is is so old that there are no Windows 7 (or Vista for that matter) drivers for it. Also it is Nvidia that you would be looking to for the drivers; Abit may have made the motherboard, but Nvidia made the chipset and wrote the drivers for it.

About the best you're going to get for it is the last XP driver,

WinXP - UDP (5.10)

and then use either,

or try and install manually through Device Manager,
