Old PC Games

What old PC games do you still play? Also put reasons if you want to.

For me:

Sims 2 = Because my PC won't run Sims 3.

Insane = I still think that it is a good off-road game.

I play old games because I miss them. Driver, RA2, NFS series.

Tyrian 2000, Magic Carpet, Starsiege: Tribes (the original MMO shooter)

Wolf 3D and Doom. Timeless.

I still fire up Serious Sam FE and SE every now and then, can be rather therapeutic mowing down screaming hordes of monsters; and just for fun there are even a few people still running servers for a bit of co-op or deathmatch. They also still look pretty good with the settings all set as high as they will go with full AA and AF.

I still play Theme Hospital on my Netbook. Makes boring lectures go that bit faster.

Still play Half Life 1 every now and then, never gets old. Console wise I'm still re-running through Zelda Ocarina of Time as well.

+1 on Doom.

Probably my second favorite gaming franchise to date.

With Battlefield coming in at #1.

I started thinking of games like Commander Keen and Wolfenstein 3D (games from the early 90s) and suddenly realized that Sims 2 (2004) is being considered old here.

Now I feel old.

The older NFS games, Timelapse, Heroes of Might and Magic 2, Simcity 3000 and 4, my old PSX games (using an emulator)... good stuff. Hehe

I still play Worms Armageddon because i love the game and the online play. Also DooM online via the SkullTag engine. Both great games and both work with a slow internet connection

+1 for Heroes, also many of the Ultima series so I can pretend that I am a kid again... which I am.... ask my wife she'll agree .
