Old RW Media?

This is off topic I guess. What do you do with ‘old’ RW media like CDs and DVDs (new and used)? I guess I should add floppies, too.

Do you give them to the Goodwill? Recycle them? Any organizations that might like them?

What I’ve done with floppies is split the case open and recycle. I cut up the media disks and trash them.

I buy optical media on eBay myself and do use it. What do you have there? Are they all RW or just -R? I need more CD/RW and DVD/RW disks.

As to the floppies, that is very old tech and I really have no use for it. Someone on eBay may want them, but expect your auction to be up for at least a year.

I have everything back to msdos1 windows 1 dbase word 1 o/s2 and a shed full of disks cds etc sometimes they go for big money as a lot of firms run very old pcs in a corner running some old software

If you give away the used floppies, format them first. CD-Rs and DVD-Rs are still very useful.
