My friend had a Zoom meeting scheduled, but her dog ate the lens of her webcam. I started setting up mine, a Logitech QuiKCam S5500. I've been using it with Win7, and before that with XP, but there are no longer any updates. On her Win10 computer, her Zoom program said it doesn't detect a camera. She had to join the meeting by phone.
I know very little about webcams. Are they specific to certain Windows versions, like printers?
Secondly, if you join a Zoom meeting by phone, does it have to be a cell phone?
