Old windows, lost key, where to get
Hi ppl,
just had to reinstall my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 retail
cant find the key... :shock:
Have try the internet for keys but none working...
Anybody know a place to find working keys,,,
Maybe shared from people who dont use W7 anymore...
or recoverd from trashed machines...

The key for your PC is on the COA sticker. On a laptop it is on the bottom or in the battery compartment, on a desktop it is in the rear.

Where is the packaging that came with your W7 Ultimate dvd, where did you store the disc ?

You can call Microsoft, they will ask you for some numbers that are on the retail disc, they may give you a key, Good Luck

You should protect the Product Key for Ultimate like any other valuable worth $200. Why didn't you?
If you had asked before you reinstalled we could have told you how to extract the key from the install using
Belarc Advisor.
I would buy the cheapest version available since most consumers dont' need the few extra expensive features in Ultimate other than which its the same exact OS.
