my Dell c400 came with a DVD player (external ofcourse), but I think it can be done from a USB device thats big enough to hold a disk image.
not sure though if that would work on my C400
...
you could also divide your 100 gb HD into 2 partitions, and run an install from the existing OS (probably XP), when it reboots my guess is that the installation files are already on your new partition, i havent tried this yet myself...
you could (as a last resort) trie to borrow a external DVD player from someone, and install it that way (would be the easyest
)

An Intel Pentium III 600mhz processor, I had 512mb ram, but I found another 256mb chip to add to it. :shock: Installed Build 7127 on a 40gb IDE Hard Drive. :huh: It runs, I have email, & SevenForums ! I got till March 2010 to see if it keeps running.
I remember when i was having second thoughts about getting a copy for my dads laptop, Celeron 1.4ish, 512mb (upgraded to 1.5), crappy intel GMA.
