Onboard audio driver help

Hi there. I have installed Windows 7 but currently cant get the right drivers for the onboard sound.

The mobo is a Foxconn 915PL7AE-S

This is currently a big problem and would appreciate any help

Thank you stormy. Have installed that version but it just says no audio output device is installed. So frustrating

did you go to Foxconn for the audio driver here Foxconn Support - Download

We could also tell more if you told us abt your computer 32 bit or 64? clean install or upgrade?

Hi Ken thanks for your comment. Yes been to the Foxconn website and input my mobo details only supported drivers there are for XP and under.

Im running 32 bit and its a clean install of gold (retail)

The problem seems to lie when restarting my computer after the restart propt comes up after installing the R230 executable. It says installation was unsuccessfull. Done the troublshooting and basically that just tryes reinstalling the driver which makes no difference

There are drivers available for foxconn for windows 7...
just visit - Foxconn Motherboards support windows 7 RS

choose ur motherboard... in my case it's G31MX-K
