once every month or so lag problem

This has happened to me 4 times now since i built this computer since 3 month ago. I have tried reinstalling with display driver uninstaller and updating driver. Its random seems to happen once a month, ill run a game(any) its so laggy even the intro logo/menu is unplayable. It goes away by itself half an hour-1 hour later or when i restart my computer. It seems software communication problem or something.
