Yes, it is a good idea to check the disk, which I shall do later when the computer is not in use. I am familiar with Linux: I use Ubuntu on my desktop. This problem is in my laptop that came with Windows 7 pre-installed.
Would it cause a problem if I run Ubuntu along side Windows 7. I much prefer Ubuntu system to Windows.
